Sunny Queen brings safe eggs back on the menu

Made with a focus on ensuring health, safety and cost for QSRs nationwide.

Sunny Queen Australia launched a new range of ready to serve egg products. Sunny Queen Meal Solutions was designed with the need to offer commercial caterers an alternative way to prepare fresh egg dishes more easily.

“We have had a great relationship with commercial organisations for many years,’ Sunny Queen Managing Director John O’Hara said.

“Providing them with the freshest eggs so they can deliver the best dishes to their customers day after day.

“We want to continue that tradition but with time, money, health and safety such crucial issues for catering outlets today we wanted to ensure that eggs would still be central on every menu by making it as easy as possible to prepare and deliver them.”

O’Hara said that his organisation has gone to great lengths to ensure all Sunny Queen Meal Solution products are made with high quality ingredients, taste great, and are safe.

“We understand the need for commercial outlets to be able to provide nutritious products, such as eggs, but to feel confident that all quality control standards have been met without sacrificing the look and taste of the end result.”

“We believe our easy to prepare egg products not only look good but taste great meaning commercial kitchens can now offer a variety of egg dishes quickly, cost effectively and with confidence.”

The newly released product range includes gourmet omelettes, scrambled egg mixes, egg bakes, poached eggs and more. All products can be prepared in a microwave, grill, combi or conventional oven and are free of gluten, artificial colours, flavours and are HACCP certified. They are all made from fresh farm eggs, and then either pasteurised or fully cooked, for consistency and food safety, before being snap frozen.

Sunny Queen also plans to develop new products every year.

The products are suitable for a wide range of environments including cafes, health and aged care services, food services companies and those catering for large groups such as the defence force, mining companies, workplace cafeterias and airlines. Restaurants and schools are also expected to be key markets.
