Subway to launch new loyalty scheme as Subcard closes
The loyalty programme will close on 31 August 2026.
Subway has revealed plans to launch a new loyalty programme after confirming its Subcard programme will close on 31 August 2026 in Australia and New Zealand, a spokesperson said.
“In its place, we’re developing a new loyalty programme designed to offer guests greater value and recognition for their loyalty,” a Subway spokesperson told QSR Media.
Guests can continue to earn Reward Dollars on purchases until 30 June 2026 and redeem any earned balance until 31 August 2026.
Unspent Gift Dollar balances after the programme ends will be honoured through the Subcard programme via a refund of equivalent value.
The news follows a similar move by McDonald's earlier this month where it announced the removal of the McSmart Meal by 30 June 2026.
