Hideo Dekura trains Go Sushi and Wasabi Warriors team members

The three-day training was held at Hideo’s Kitchen in Chatswood, Sydney.

Katherine Dimmick, manager of Go Sushi Toowoomba, commented, “It was awesome to be able to work with Hideo and learn off him.”

With roots from Yotsua, Master Chef Hideo Dekura has spent years perfecting the skills passed down to him by his father and generations before him.

“It is very important to us to maintain the authentic Japanese styles and influences in our sushi in the convenience market particularly in our Wasabi Warriors brand. Although Wasabi Warriors focuses more on the authenticity of the sushi flavours, it is important to also apply these techniques to Go Sushi to make sure we are giving our customers the highest quality sushi possible,” said Pacific Retail Management CEO Nicola Mills.
