Mad Mex reveals winter menu as it eyes 100 stores by 2026
The Mexican chain recently release its new menu which s part of its growth plan.
Mexican chain Mad Mex plans to grow to 100 stores by 2026 by growing the number of their stores by 20% every year.
The chain currently has over 70 stores.
As part of its growth and new product development plans, Mad Mex has now announced the release of its winter menu which features the return of the Spicy Chicken.
Called Spicy ‘Yucatan’ Chicken, the menu item was last in stores in 2019. Mad Mex said that customers have been waiting for its comeback. Inspired by the Yucatan region, Spicy ‘Yucatan’ Chicken boasts a bright red colour from achiote spice and is the perfect blend of Mad Mex Chipotle Marinade and Yucatan Spice Mix.
The Spicy Chicken is available for a limited time from 11 July to 30 September.
“We’re excited to see how customers respond to the returned menu item and offer more true Mexican flavour profiles and new product innovations in the future,” Mad Mex Founder and MD, Clovis Young.
Recently, Mad Mex embarked on a succession plan where COO Therese Frangie took the role of CEO. Meanwhile, Clovis has transitioned into his role as Managing Director which will see him focus on strategy and special projects.
