Guzman y Gomez has introduced a limited-time taco that incorporates elements of a cheeseburger, as quick-service operators continue to test hybrid menu formats.
The Cheeseburger Cali Taco includes ground beef, jalapeño ketchup, diced onion, seasoned fries, jack cheese, and a proprietary sauce, wrapped in a flour tortilla.
The launch comes as QSR brands experiment with menu combinations aimed at attracting customers across multiple occasions, particularly as competition intensifies and consumers become more selective with spending.
The product is priced at $4 and is available for a limited time across GYG’s restaurants through dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru, its mobile app, and delivery platforms, including Uber Eats.
