KFC Australia unveils ‘world-first’ KFC vending machine for new menu launch
The location of the vending machine is yet to be announced.
KFC Australia will launch what it says is the ‘world’s first’ KFC vending machine, as part of the promotional launch of the new Sweet Tokyo Hot & Crispy.
The location of the fried chicken vending machine will be announced on 18 October. KFC said that customers should keep an eye on their social media for clues on where it will be launched.
The Sweet Tokyo Hot & Crispy is KFC's legendary Hot & Crispy boneless chicken, reimagined with delicious Tokyo-inspired flavours. Each piece is coated in a glossy, sticky-sweet teriyaki glaze, then finished with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
Sweet Tokyo Hot & Crispy is available at select KFC restaurants nationwide from Tuesday, 7 October until Monday, 3 November. It will be available in a 3- or 6-piece pack, starting at $8.45. A budget option, priced under $5, comes with 2 pieces of Sweet Tokyo Hot & Crispy, chips, potato, and gravy, along with a dinner roll.
