RFG kicks off first ever QSR pizza conference

Over 150 franchisees flocked to the event.

With its acquisition of Pizza Capers in April 2012 and Crust Gourmet Pizza in October 2012, RFG continues to strengthen both brands by holding the company’s first QSR Pizza Conference. The conference was held for two days in the Gold Coast, with more than 150 franchisees representing the two pizza brands.

The conference gave venue to bring together both brands and discuss strategy for moving forward under the same ownership. It also gave an opportunity for the two brands to address various concerns and questions relating to their coexistence.

According to Michael Logos, QSR Divisional Director, “RFG believes in ‘strength in brands’ and Pizza Capers and Crust now have access to greater economies of scale, knowledge and resources, a broader focus and the benefits that come from a larger support team, which will undoubtedly strengthen each brand and foster new growth.”

“The overall sentiment was very positive from both sets of franchisees and we are all excited for the future of gourmet pizza with these two strong brands at the forefront of the gourmet QSR market,” added Michael.
