Rashays announced the appointment of Prakhar Rawat as its chief technology officer.
Rawat worked with several brands to help achieve digital transformation and optimisation of their business processes. He was recently CTO of a scale-up martech company based in Sydney.
Founder Rami Ykmour said that Rawat would help scale the business on the technology front, following major changes during the pandemic.
"Our business has been through multiple lockdowns which have profoundly impacted the business model," Ykmour said in a statement. "For our company to make this transition, we had to innovate quickly and this could not be achieved without investing in our technology department to make the customer experience better. Now we want to continue to improve our technology as we expand our network of RASHAYS restaurants across Australia.”
"RASHAYS is a business that puts its customers and employees at the heart of its operations," Rawat added. "I am truly elated to be welcomed as part of the RASHAYS family and am looking forward to working with Rami and the team. My mission is to deliver simplicity in customer experience while utilising the best of technology to enable efficiencies at scale for the benefit of RASHAYS growing network of restaurants across Australia."
Rashays has opened more than 32 restaurants across NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD, feeding over 100,000 customers a week.
