QSR Media: What makes you excited about your position?
Shay-lee Case: What excites me about my role is working with a similarly minded passionate team. This allows us all to work and move in the same direction to deliver common goals. Every day offers a new set of opportunities that allow me to personally utilize my skills and experience but to also stretch myself and grow to the add value to many areas of the business.
QSR Media: What 3 goals are you focused on?
Case: Reducing costs to the business. Ensuring we have the right product mix in the right place at the right time. Adding value back into the business and Franchise Partners.
QSR Media: What long-term changes are you planning on?
Case: Ensuring we provide a complete supply chain offering to our Franchise partners and stores but partnering with the best and most strategic Business partners we can.
QSR Media: What are your key business philosophies?
Case: My key business philosophy is about relationships, be it with Business Partners, Franchise partners, peers or colleagues this is the fundamental bases for success. From there transparency and accountability rate highly. Sometimes when you follow your dreams, it opens the door for others to follow theirs.
QSR Media: What previous appointments prepared you for this one and how?
Case: I have 20+ years in the Supply Chain and Procurement arena it really is about moving items from A to B in the most cost effective manner with the right Business Partners. I am not sure one is ever fully prepared you just bring with you your experience and apply it.
