To celebrate, the chain will be giving away 500 free tacos from 28 to 29 June.
Japanese-Mexican restaurant TokyoTaco is set to open a beachfront restaurant at the Mooloolaba Esplanade on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast on 18 June.
To celebrate the launch, TokyoTaco will be giving away 500 free tacos to those who order via the TokyoTaco app during the weekend of 28 to 29 June.
The 80-seat restaurant sits just metres from the beach and includes indoor and outdoor seating options, along with bar service and coffee.
TokyoTaco Mooloolaba offers a menu that includes a variety of low-gluten, vegetarian, protein, and plant-based options.
It also features signature dishes like the Miso Baked Salmon Taco layered with Japanese mayo and caramelised chilli sauce, slow-braised beef nachoSu topped with pico de gallo, and the TacoFries.
Guests can order at the bar, via self-serve kiosks, for takeaway, or through the TokyoTaco app, which also offers occasional discounts and promotions.
TokyoTaco Mooloolaba will open daily from 11 a.m. It will close at 9 p.m. from Sundays to Wednesdays, 10 p.m. on Thursdays, and at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
