South Korean chicken chain Goobne eyes six openings in next 12 months
Interstate franchise opportunities will open up once the brand has established its presence in NSW.
South Korean roast chicken chain Goobne has revealed plans to open additional stores in Australia.
Its first company-owned outlet at Darling Harbour, which opened last year, will be followed up with an opening this September in Sydney suburb Zetland.
An additional six locations are planned over the next 12 months, which would be available as franchises with Epping, Chatswood and Strathfield target markets as eyed areas.
Chatime Group, which operates the brand in Australia, said interstate franchise opportunities will open up once the brand has established its presence in New South Wales.
Restaurants are 100-130sqm with a focus on high delivery and takeaway opportunities similar to Goobne's restaurants in Korea, the group added.
