Lord of the Fries to expand to retail market after New Zealand franchise sale
The franchise business is for sale for NZ$1.2m.
The New Zealand franchise of vegan fast food chain Lord of The Fries is up for sale for NZ$1.2m ($1.12m), co-founder Mark Koronczyk confirmed to QSR Media.
News outlets have reported that the franchise owner Bruce Craig, who bought the New Zealand franchise in 2016, has decided to sell the business so he and his partner Baksho Craig could move overseas to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Full statement from Mark Koronczyk below:
The strategy is to work with the new Master Franchisor to expand LOTF outlets around NZ and also enter the retail market as we have in Australia through major supermarket chains. It’s a very exciting opportunity. Bruce and Baksho have been fantastic in growing the brand in a short period of time. We appreciate their hard work and their desire to move to the UK to be closer to their family
Lord of the Fries has six outlets in New Zealand and 19 in Australia.
