Beefy's to open 7th store in North Lakes

The store is the second drive-thru from the family owned chain. To celebrate the opening, Beefy's will be giving away free pies when they open on Saturday. One lucky entrant will win free Beefy's pies for a year.
The chain opened its first drive-thru at Ningi in April 2011. The positive feedback has encouraged this second location in North Lakes.
"We saw an opportunity to cater to the needs of early morning commuters travelling from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane," said Mark Hobbs, Owner and Managing Director of Beefy's.
Adding, "we have a loyal following of customers who increasingly want a cafe quality food option, from the comfort of their car - rain, hail or shine! Pies, by their very nature, offer this on-the-go convenience. We've noticed a lot of customers such as 'tradies' frequenting our drive-thru stores for a convenient handheld pie on-the-go, especially in the morning."
According to Hobbs, location is one of the major factors that determine where the chain opens a drive-thru store alongside of its traditional stand alone format. "North Lakes and surrounding areas are experiencing some of the fastest population growth in Queensland. We saw the opportunity to help service the growing number of commuters such as ‘tradies’ travelling from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane each morning. We wanted to make it easy for them to pick up a convenient handheld pie on-the-go."
Beefy's have also noticed busy parents frequenting its drive-thru stores on rainy days opting for a "stress-free" take home family dinner.
The chain will continue to focus in building the brand with existing stores and plans to look for similar locations within the Sunshine Coast region and North Brisbane, said Hobb.s
