Carl's Jr. Australia – behind the burger with Comcater Part 3: The Full Fitout
From last minute building changes, to airfreighting specialist equipment, the fitout for Carl’s Jr’s landmark Australian store was a huge task for all involved. Thankfully, Comcater’s National Accounts Manager Manfred Wittek worked tirelessly with Carl’s Jr. General Manager Rodney Moran to ensure the store was ready for their grand opening.
The extra effort did not go unnoticed by Rodney.
“Comcater has been really good in being there for us and helping us setting up our kitchen. Manfred has been a good help… there’s been lots of phone calls where we’ve called him up and have said, “Right, we need this, where are you? We need this put together!”, and he did. He came along and put our shelves up and everything which was really nice – he didn’t have to do that, that wasn’t part of the plan and it definitely was not a part of his contract and yet he still came and did that for us which was good.”
The full Carl’s Jr. fitout includes Menumaster DEC18E Microwaves, Vitamix 51024 ‘The Quiet One’ Blender, Garland GF24-247 Grills, a Comenda LC700TH-CRC Dishwasher, Cambro Elements Shelving, a huge selection of food pans, storage boxes and containers from Cambro, FRANKE Chip Dump, plus specialist blenders, drink dispensers, holding cabinets and all of the stainless steel fabrication and speciality benching was all ordered by Comcater.
