Three QSR chains rank amongst fastest-growing consumer brands in FY2025

This includes Guzman Y Gomez, Zambrero, and Sushi Hub.

Guzman Y Gomez claims the second spot amongst Australia's fastest-growing consumer retail brands in FY2025, recording a 4.9% increase in customer growth, according to Fonto’s report.

The Mexican fast-food chain, which now operates over 210 locations nationwide, attracted nearly 33% of the Australian population over the financial year.

This translates to an estimated one million new customers.

Other fast-food brands showing strong growth included Zambrero (14th) and Sushi Hub (16th), both of which ranked just outside the top ten.

Zambrero experienced a 2.8% growth rate and added approximately 600,000 new customers, with 10% of Australians purchasing from the chain.

Sushi Hub grew by 2.7%, with about 570,000 new customers, which is roughly 26% of the population making a purchase there during the year.
