
Meal deals, bundling boost foodservice market
QSRs are still hailed as the fastest growing channel despite muted consumer participation.
Older millennials aged 25 to 34 years old and adults 50 and above have drove gains in foodservice in the second quarter, according to The NPD Group.
The market research company says this translated to strong growth seen in segments such as combo meals, value menu meals and bundle menu offerings.
