Here’s where you can spot the McCafé van to grab a free coffee
The fast-food giant is celebrating McCafé’s 30 years by giving away free coffee.
McDonald’s is touring Australia to give away free coffee in celebration of the 30th anniversary of McCafe.
A concept borne in Australia, McCafé has become a global phenomenon, with 1,026 McCafé’s across Australia and more than 4,000 in 60 countries across the word.
The McCafe coffee van tour’s first stop was in Guilfoyle Lawn, Melbourne Botanic Gardens, Melbourne last week. This week the van coffee van will be located at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair in Sydney on 30 May, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM.
Other tour spots will be located at:
- 4 June: Brisbane Marathon, City Botanic Gardens, Brisbane - 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 6 June: Strand Park, Townsville - 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
McDonald’s will also be giving away free coffee nationwide on 30 May. Available from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM only, customers can grab a free medium McCafé hot coffee of either a latte, espresso, macchiato, piccolo latte, cappuccino, long black, flat white, or mocha. Customers only have to open their MyMacca’s app and select ‘free coffee’ under the ‘My Deals’ tab. The offer is limited to one per person.
“Tomorrow (30 May), coffee is on us! We are shouting free coffee to customers across Australia to thank them for their loyalty and support over the past 30 years,” Lancy Huynh, Group Brand Manager for McDonald’s Australia said.
