Crust Gourmet franchisees raise money for Children's Ward
Crust Thirroul, Wollongong and Shellharbour joined forces to raise money for the Wollongong Hospital Children’s Ward.The children's ward is a 20-bed paediatric unit providing care for children aged 0 to 16 years.Crust Thirroul Franchise Partner Anne Doyle said together the three stores raised more than $900 for the cause.“We wanted to do something to help the inspiring team at the Children’s Ward, and support the important work they do, so we decided to run a promotion where $1 from every large and medium pizza sold in store and online between Tuesday 29 November and Thursday 1 would be donated to them.” Funds raised by Crust will go towards the hospital’s redevelopment project that will see a complete makeover of the Children’s Ward and improved areas for its patients, their families and staff. The revamped ward will incorporate an atrium-style interactive play area, outpatient clinics, improved parent facilities and purpose-built teaching and learning areas.
