Burrito Bar set to launch first ACT restaurant

The concept will also feature sister brand Smokin Burgers n’ Ribs, which initially started as a virtual brand.

Burrito Bar is set to launch its first site in the ACT, expected to open later this April.

Located in South Point Shopping Centre, the site will be operated by former professional rugby league footballer and Canberra Raiders captain Terry Campese with Dwayne Campese-Rapana, Daniel & Holly Moore, and Jeremy & Alicia Howell, the group behind the chain said in an announcement.

The concept will also feature sister brand Smokin Burgers n’ Ribs, which initially started as a virtual brand.

Burrito Bar chief executive previously told QSR Media the group hopes to open at least 26 more locations before the year ends — part of a major strategy to establish itself as a multi-brand franchisor.

The group will also introduce New Zealand-based brand Hell Pizza in Australia.
