Surf'n'Fries ventures into Oz
Its first store will be in Bondi Beach and it plans to open further 20 shops in 5 years.
Surf’n’Fries Australia will bring in its own menu as well as incorporate loaded fries, battered fish, prawns, chicken strips, and nuggets as options - along with milk and thick shakes. The brand said it intends to open a number of shops within the first 12 months and is confident there will be at least 20 shops in the first 5 years.
Surf’n’Fries takes its fries to another level with its unique shape and flavour to its custom packaging of red and white hibiscus flowers. The brand offering features a large fries you can hold in one hand, complete with two sauces, sides, and a drink. Also, its shops are fitted out in a modern and quirky theme with swings sets and surfboard-shaped tables.
What started out as a small 20m2 shop in Rijeka, Croatia has rapidly grown to be in 15 countries with 70 stores worldwide from Russia to South Africa, Asia, Iran, and the UAE.
