Pizza Hut launches Cheeseburger Crust Pizza

It will be launched today, with WA slated for March 18.

Commenting on the new menu item Graeme Houston, GM, Pizza Hut stated “This amazing new product will blow burger and pizza lovers away. It’s delicious, it’s fun and we’re still trying to figure out the best way to actually eat it. Burger first or pizza first?”.

It is made with 8 Australian beef patties with cheddar cheese on top. This is nestled into the crust of a large pizza and available with a choice of toppings for $3 extra. Pizza Hut have also employed Charlie Clifton, a burger aficionado, to help with the launch.

“I have somehow landed the greatest job ever, paid to spruik a seriously amazing pizza – the Cheeseburger Crust. I always said I’d make money out of loving pizza and burgers, and here we are!” Clifton stated.

Promotion of the new pizza includes a competition to win a months worth of free pizza.
