McDonald’s launches popular UK menu item in Australia

The new burger will be part of the brand’s winter menu.

McDonald’s Australia has revealed its winter with the brand bringing the Steakhouse Stack from its UK counterpart Down Under.

The Steakhouse Stack is made with beef patties, shredded lettuce, cheese, crispy golden onions and slivered red onions topped with a creamy peppercorn mayo on a bun. Mcdonald’s gave the menu an Aussie twist, with the Steakhouse Stack utilising Aussie beef and Jack Cheese instead of cheddar. The seeded buns were also swapped for a toasted gourmet bun.

Part of McDonald’s new menu lineup are the returning Mozzarella Sticks, Banana Caramel Pie, the Banana Caramel Pie Vanilla McFlurry, and the new Banana Caramel Pie Chocolate McFlurry.

The winter menu items will be available in Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca’s app and McDelivery from Wednesday 3 July 2024, for a limited time.
