GYG rolls out limited-time BBQ Chicken Double Crunch
The new menu item is priced at $4.80.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) is introducing a new item, the BBQ Chicken Double Crunch, available from 9 December for a limited time only.
The dish layers a soft flour tortilla with queso around the chain’s signature hard-shell tortilla, stuffed with grilled free-range chicken, sweet chipotle BBQ sauce, chipotle-seasoned fries, chipotle mayo, and the company’s house jack cheese.
The BBQ Chicken Double Crunch is priced at $4.80.
According to GYG, the idea originated from test-kitchen trials led by culinary director Nate Appleman, who was experimenting with stronger Chipotle flavours and heavier cheese combinations.
