Noodle Box takes inspiration from a popular Asian street food
Introduces new item on the menu.
The brand has introduced Thai Beef and Broccoli which is based on a char kway teow recipe. "It contains bok choy, hofun noodles (a wide and flat rice noodle), beef, broccoli and bean sprouts – and it’s served with a specific sauce developed by our Noodle Box master chef, Justin Cho," a Noodle Box spokesperson told QSR Media.
"The dish is based on the national favourite of the region, and is hugely popular throughout South East Asia and China. It is considered street food, and was traditionally served to labourers by the hawkers. The base of the rice noodle is considered essential, with some nationalities even slicing rice cake to serve with the dish."
According to the spokesperson, the dish is also hugely popular in Australia – particularly in Perth where there is a large Singaporean community.
