Zeus Street Greek marks 50th outlet with major expansion push
The chain has also outlined plans for over 130 new restaurant openings.
Zeus Street Greek has opened its first Sunshine Coast restaurant at Sunshine Plaza, a move that also marks the company's 50th outlet nationwide.
Co-founder Costa Anastasiadis said the chain plans to open more than 130 additional restaurants across major Australian cities and expand into South Australia and the Northern Territory.
“In 2027 alone, we expect to create hundreds of new jobs for Australians through this accelerated expansion,” said Ramon Castillo, CEO of Zeus Street Greek. “Through our franchisee model, we enable local people to support their own communities through employment opportunities.”
The business plans to open about 20 new restaurants each year over the next four years, and projects that customer reach will increase by 28% during that period.
From 6 July, Zeus Street Greek will run a national campaign inviting customers to nominate a "local hero" from their community.
Anastasiadis said the campaign is intended to recognise people who embody the Greek concept of "philotimo," which broadly refers to values such as generosity, integrity, and community spirit.
The company has also partnered with DoorDash to offer a limited-edition Family Greek Feast, available exclusively through the delivery platform's app from 6 July.
