KFC is opening the world’s first Colonel Lodge, a Christmas holiday-themed lodge, as part of its Christmas in July celebrations.
The Colonel Lodge is part of a promo KFC is holding in Australia, where a customer who spends $30 or more in the KFC App during July has a chance to enter a draw to be one of the three winners of a trip to the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, where the lodge is located.
The winner and three of their chosen companions can enjoy a two-night stay that features a fully decked-out KFC experience which includes a Lodge Butler who will deliver an unlimited supply of KFC Christmas spreads throughout their stay.
In addition, KFC will also be launching daily deals monthlong via the KFC App.
“Creating unique experiences with KFC at the heart is something we love to do for our customers. Each year, we look forward to helping our fans celebrate the Christmas in July occasion with good food, good people and good times and we’re thrilled to be bringing the Colonel’s Lodge to life and offer fans a fresh and fun opportunity to enjoy KFC. What’s more, we know our Christmas in July deals have been a hit in the past, so this year we had to make it all month long so everyone could get into the spirit,” Tami Cunningham, CMO at KFC Australia said.
In addition, KFC is bringing back the annual Christmas in July Feast that features 10 pieces of Original Recipe chicken, 10 Wicked Wings, 10 Nuggets, 1 Maxi Popcorn, 3 Large Chips, 1 Large Potato and Gravy, and 2 dipping sauces. KFC will also be bringing back the Christmas in July merch, where sales proceeds will go to the KFC Youth Foundation and its charity partners Black Dog Institute and ReachOut Australia.
