Domino's Pizza Enterprises shutters 205 restaurants

The group said it is so they can 'sharpen market focus and improve profitability.'

Domino's Pizza Enterprises Ltd closed down 205 restaurants, with 172 of these in Japan, to sharpen market focus and improve profitability, including $15.5m in estimated annualised savings from store closures and accelerated refranchising, with a one-off cost of in the region of $97m.

Domino’s underlying net profit before tax (NPBT) is expected to be between $84m and $86m in H1 2025.

Its net debt increased by $15m to $705.1m, with an underlying reduction in net debt of $31.4m offset by $46.4m in foreign exchange translations due to the weaker Australian dollar.

Domino’s presently intends to determine a $0.555 per share interim dividend.
