Cowch terminates franchise agreement of Cowch Garden City

The Garden City store is now closed.

Australian dessert shop Cowch has terminated the franchise agreement of Cowch Garden City Store, SV Partners said.

"With the Administration of Cowch group of entitities ongoing, we have unfortunately had to terminate the franchise agreement of the Cowch Garden City store. As a result, the Garden City store is now closed. Cowch group’s relationship with Westfield has now concluded, with the Cowch Chermside store also having ceased trading on Sunday 16th April," the statement read.

Meanwhile, Cowch stores at Southbank, Chermside and Broadbeach remain open for business and are operating as normal.

On 14 March 2023, the Cowch Group of entities were placed into Voluntary Administration with SV Partners Administrators Terry van der Velde and Terry Rose leading the appointment.

Established in Brisbane in 2014, Cowch consists of four dessert cocktail bars located in Chermside, South Bank, Broadbeach and the now closed Garden City.
