Wendys makes donation via Three Wishes

Part proceeds from every scoop of Three Wishes will be donated to CanTeen, the national support organisation for 12-24 year-olds living with cancer.

The specially developed flavour, made with strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla swirls, is available in all Wendys stores across Australia.

“In 2011 Wendys signed up as one of CanTeen’s major national partners, committing to contributing $150,000 to the organisation every year for three years,” said Wendys CEO Rob McKay.

The launch of Three Wishes, according to McKay, is one of many initiatives the Wendys network will promote and support to ensure the comitment is met.

He said $2 from the sale of every box of Wendys Three Wishes ice cream goes to CanTeen.

Meanwhile Wendys has also launched two new Three Wishes ice cream cakes, with $5 from every cake sold donated to the same organisation.
