Eagle Boys supports Celebral Palsy research

The Company will donate $1 from every dessert sold during the Cerebral Palsy Week from August 1-7 to Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

The prevalence of the most common childhood physical disability prompted the Company pledge a donation of over $200,000 to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance over the next three years.

Eagle Boys is also keen in funding the work of Hayley Smithers-Sheedy, a research officer for the Australian Cerebral Palsy Register at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

“Our work in delivering real taste, real size and real value pizzas in recent years has seen Eagle Boys enjoy strong growth. We now have a real opportunity to give back and support an organisation which is doing great work assisting children and adults with cerebral palsy, and also identifying its cause,” said Eagle Boys Pizza CEO, Todd Clayton.

In Australia, a child is born with cerebral palsy every 15 hours. It is the most common physical disability in childhood. Cerebral palsy is caused by an injury to the developing brain, which usually occurs before birth.
