Retail Food Group hires former Subway exec to grow Firehouse Subs
The group plans to open 165 Firehouse Subs restaurants in 10 years
Retail Food Group has appointed Tracy Steinwand as the General Manager of Firehouse Subs Australia.
Steinwand will oversee all aspects of the brand's growth across Australia, including operations, the launch of the first restaurant, and the development of initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and drive business growth.
Steinwand was formerly the vice president of operations and training for COBS Bread Bakery. Before that, she spent years as an executive with various roles at Subway.
Relocating from Vancouver in Canada specifically for the Firehouse Subs role in Australia, Steinwand’s most relevant career highlight was when she served as Director of the Australia and New Zealand Business for Subway.
RFG said it has targeted southeast Queensland for the launch restaurant, and plans to open 165 restaurants in 10 years.
