Zarraffa’s Coffee opens sixth drive-thru-only restaurant in Toowoomba

The new restaurant created 22 jobs.

Zarraffa’s Coffee has announced the opening of its sixth drive-thru-only restaurant in Harristown in Toowoomba.

Located on Alderley St, Zarraffa’s Coffee Harristown features a single-lane drive-thru, a walk-up window, and an outdoor seating area.

The restaurant will operate from 4:30am to 8:00pm daily and is strategically positioned to serve both outgoing traffic and those entering the Gore Highway. The new restaurant will employ approximately 22 new staff members.

Opening in smaller restaurants in non-traditional locations is the future of Zarraffa’s Coffee, according to Marnie Sheldon, CEO.

The drive-thru-only restaurant model was launched last year and designed to enhance the customer experience for those who are time-poor and demand convenience. In a previous interview, Sheldon said that this allows them to talk to landlords who have carparks, small lots and other lettable possibilities that could house the smaller footprint.
