US chain Wendy’s to come to Australia: report

The fast-food brand is currently on the hunt for a master franchisee.

US fast-food chain Wendy’s could potentially set up hundreds of restaurants in Australia, a report by The Australian Financial Review.

In an interview, Wendy’s president, international and chief development officer Abigail Pringle said that the Australian market could be hundreds of restaurants.

“We have to be careful with what that timeline is exactly because we want to pick the right partner. And that takes a little bit of time. But we think that we can have hundreds of restaurants in the market over time,” Pringle said.
