Pizza Hut opens new store in Westen Australia

This is the pizza chain’s first new store in five years.

The new store, located in the outer Perth suburb of Butler, is part of the planned national growth by Pizza Hut to expand from 270 stores to 500.

Pizza Hut general manager Graeme Houston said the new store launch came at a time when the business had experienced 18 consecutive months of profitable sales growth nationally.

“We have created significant momentum from taking a hard look at our value and quality propositions and are confident of further growth and success across Australia,” Houston said.

Pizza Hut has also invested in its online capabilities which currently accounts for around 40% of total sales and was growing by 50% a year.

Houston added that the reduced capital investment now required for a new Pizza Hut franchise would help fuel the business’s growth.
