Gelatissimo opens new store in Cronulla

It will be the first store from the dessert chain to open in the Sutherland area.

The store, located at 101 Cronulla Street, Cronulla, will open in late September serving the café’s dessert range.

It is also the last beach area in Sydney that Gelatissimo is looking at opening, the company said.

"Gelatissimo is a brand that loves fun and summer. We aim to create memorable moments for our customers and their families. Beaches offer those elements of fun and summer memories that we are aligned with.," Fred Pose, Franchise Development Manager, said.

Pose said that while the company is planning three more new outlets to become operational this year, it will look for other regions in which to set up shop.

"Our first priority is to make sure that all of our franchisees enjoy the benefits of a good catchment area," he said.

While the chain is currently looking for a franchisee on board the Cronulla branch, the store will open regardless.
