Baskin-Robbins gives away years' worth of ice cream at new Brisbane store
The brand held the grand opening for its new Rosalie store on Thursday 7 July, celebrating the launch with free ice cream and festivities.
The Grand Opening Party drew in a crowd of over 1,200, as the first 10 guests won a year’s supply of Baskin-Robbins ice cream.
David Jordan, Baskin-Robbins General Manager, said there was a lot of excitement leading up to the Grand Opening party and the local Franchise Partners, Abhishek and Varsha Sodhani, are thrilled to have local prize winners, as well as handing out over 1,200 free scoops of ice cream to local residents to celebrate the opening.
“We are excited to join the Rosalie community and serve up Baskin-Robbins’ delicious 31 flavours of ice cream. The first 10 customers were delighted to be the winners of free ice cream for a year,” said Jordan.
The Federal Member for Ryan Hon Jane Prentice, member for Mt Coot-tha Hon Steven Miles, Paddington Councillor Cr Peter Matic and Trevor Evans officially opened the store by cutting the store ribbon along with Jordan.
“I’m pleased to welcome Abhishek and Varsha Sodhani to the Rosalie community, their dedication to providing opportunities to local staff and creating happiness for each Baskin-Robbins Guest is inspiring and I wish them every success,” said Cr Peter Matic.
The Rosalie Baskin-Robbins store has the latest state-of-the-art international store design which includes the new dedicated topping station, offering guests a choice of toppings to complement their ice cream flavour. This new design showcases the Brands’ attributes of a fun and family friendly store environment with the new dining in or out experience.
The Rosalie Baskin-Robbins store is located at Shop 5, 155 Baroona Road, Rosalie, Brisbane. Following the Grand Opening Party, the store will be open for daily trading between 10am and 10.30pm Monday to Thursday, from 10am to midnight on Friday, and between 9.30am and 10.30pm on weekends.
