Find out what's new with La Porchetta’s revamped look

It boasts new banquet seating.

La Porchetta has unveiled a new look that features banquet style seating.

The brand’s current operational stores, and all future stores, will be adopting the new store format.

Below is a Q&A with Sara Pantaleo, CEO of La Porchetta.

QSR Media: La Porchetta's new look, how would you describe it?

Pantaleo: Warm, inviting and friendly. The banquet seating encourages celebration and enhances our casual atmosphere.

We’ve created semi private areas for functions as well as seating for two.

QSR Media: Will other stores be converted to this format?

Pantaleo: All future restaurants will adopt this format and current outlets scheduled for refurbishment will also be rolled out.

The Melton restaurant was existing and was moving to a new development in the centre.

QSR Media: How are patrons reacting to it?

Pantaleo: They love the fresh look and are enjoying their favourite Italian meals in a new and fresh atmosphere.

This has been rolled out at the same time as our new menu which has Gluten free options and it has been very well received.

QSR Media: How are your interstate plans going?

Pantaleo: Will be holding an information night in Sydney Monday 2nd of December at the Sofitel Wentworth for growth plans in NSW.

This year we opened Caroline Springs and Rowville in Victoria and will be opening in Dunedin NZ in December and Albany NZ in April 14.

QSR Media: What are some of your goals for 2014?

Pantaleo: Growth, more refurbishments and further enhancements to our menu and online offering.

QSR Media: What operational efficiencies has the new workflow of the restaurant delivered?

Pantaleo: It means that restaurants can reduce labour costs without effect on customer service, but through better management of rosters.

QSR Media: Any other comments?

Pantaleo: When we rolled the new look and menu items at our annual conference, franchisees were very excited and some restaurants have already done a fresh paint in the new colours even though they were not due for a refurbishment.

They understood the importance of a company, such as La Porchetta that has been in restaurants since 1985, continuing to innovate and be aligned with what our customers are expecting.
