The shortage of laborers and chefs in Australia will likely get worse, but can be addressed, according to Sandhurst Fine Foods CEO Mimmo Lubrano.

Suppliers and foodservice operators alike, he said, must find better ways in utilising their workforce. Further, he suggested fellow suppliers to address labour issues by seeking any solution to reduce so-called basic labour or by outsourcing pre-cut vegetables.
