Soul Origin funds 68,000 lunches through Eat Up partnership

Eat Up operates nationally and currently supports 1,107 schools across Australia.

Soul Origin has entered into a partnership with Australian charity Eat Up, which provides free school lunches to children who may not have access to adequate food during the school day.

Through the partnership, Soul Origin will provide funding for the delivery of over 68,000 lunches to disadvantaged students.

The collaboration has launched, with further in-store promotions and activities planned later in the year.

Eat Up operates nationally and currently supports 1,107 schools across Australia.

In October, Eat Up delivered its five millionth sandwich. In FY2025, it provided 1.27 million lunches, a 34% increase compared with the previous year.

According to Eat Up’s 2025 Annual Impact Report, 61% of schools reported an increase in students needing free lunches, whilst 68% said more students are accessing the service each week.

There are currently 469 schools on Eat Up’s waitlist seeking lunch support.
