Motto Motto raises $20k for Starlight Children’s Foundation
This was made possible through the combined efforts of the brand’s operators.
Motto Motto’s Owner Operators and the Starlight Children’s Foundation raised $20k to help bring happiness to 500 sick children through Starlight’s vital hospital programs.
The funds raised will ensure Starlight continues to deliver its vital hospital services, including Captain Starlight and the Starlight Express Rooms to over 500 sick kids across the country, including the Queensland Children’s Hospital, The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Monash Children's Hospital and more.
The restaurant also let their customers help raise funds for the charity. In January, with every purchase of the mini-Motto meal, $5 went to Starlight. Restaurant guests were also able to claim a branded bento lunch box, which sold out 10 days after the campaign started.
“Our owner operators, guests and restaurant team were simply thrilled to be able to help families in need, and so many of our guests went above and beyond by giving more to Starlight by donating online while dining in our restaurants. We’re truly humbled by everyone's generosity and we hope to continue this partnership in the future,” Motto Motto Chief Financial Officer, Lisa Yao, said.
