Donut King to donate $100k to tackle mental health stigma
The money will be used for mental health education programs.
Donut King will be donating $100k to the non-profit mental health awareness organisation LIVIN.
For the month of March, for every box pack of donuts, Donut King will donate $1 to LIVIN to a maximum donation of $100k. The Australian donut brand will also color their donuts red for the month of March to help start the conversations about mental health.
LIVIN co-founder Casey Lyons said the funds will fund the organisation's mental health education program to over 200 schools in Australia.
“This partnership is a game-changer for LIVIN and we are so grateful to Donut King for their support in raising awareness and funds, and for coming on board to support our mission,” Lyons said.
Donut King has been the home of the classic hot cinnamon donut for over 40 years, and with approximately 200 stores around the country, one “hot cinni” is made every 6.6 seconds.
