Lisa Ransom: Our absolute priority is to make it easy for our customers to get great tasting pizza. This means looking at how they want to order, where we are located and ensuring we are hot and fresh. We are looking forward to working with our Franchisees to grow the business and spending time with them in the market and learning from their experiences will be one of our first steps.
QSR Media: What would you like to tell Pizza Hut franchisees and the QSR market?
Lisa Ransom: We are thrilled to have the extraordinary opportunity and ability to grow and develop a much-loved and established brand like Pizza Hut.
One of our first priorities will be to meet with franchisees as quickly as possible to develop close and effective working relationships that we are confident will lead to some great new initiatives being launched.
Taking a collaborative approach is critical and we look forward to creating a strong brand with better opportunities for all of our franchisees and to help them continue to grow in a well-supported environment.
Key to growth will be adapting flexible customer-focused strategies that resonate immediately in the highly competitive market.
Being locally owned and operated gives us the unique ability to drive focused, fully funded reactive and proactive strategies and innovations, as well as to create long-term plans to grow the business.
QSR Media: How can you make the Pizza Hut brand more relevant to millennials?
Lisa Ransom: We need to be relevant to all of our customers in ways that are important to them. For many of our customers this is about being easier to order and more innovative as a brand and we will be exploring all opportunities to drive sustainable growth for our business.
