SMiZE & DREAM opens flagship in Darling Harbour

The ice cream shop will have 18 flavours.

SMiZE & DREAM has officially opened its flagship location in Darling Harbour, following a series of pop-ups where the brand teased the launch of Australia’s newest ice cream shop.

Tyra Banks, founder of SMiZE & DREAM, said that they chose to open in Australia because it has some of the best dairy  in the world making it the ‘perfect place to make extraordinary ice cream’.

Located in front of Tumbalong Park, the roughly 120 square metre ice cream shop features warm wood tones, curved counters, custom joinery, and whimsical wood beadwork, which will become the brand’s signature.

The shop was designed in collaboration with Alexa Nice, Creative Director and Interior Designer at Studio A–N.

The launch will feature 18 ice cream flavours with playful names like The Best Vanilla I have Ever Had, Miss Coco Lamington, Mama Carolyn’s Favorite, Tyra’s Favorite, and more.

The menu will also consist of seasonal specials and rotating limited-edition flavours.

Ahead of the opening of the flagship, SMiZE launched a three-part pop-up series held at The Rocks, Broadway, and Bondi Junction.

SMiZE & DREAM is an ice cream shop founded by Tyra Banks, inspired by her mother’s determination to create a better life for their family. It reflects the values of hard work, imagination, and dreaming big, rooted in their humble beginnings in a small Los Angeles apartment.
