Crust adds 16 new items to menu
The new menu items feature a range of pizzas topped with gourmet ingredients such as five-spice pork belly, 4+Marble Score Wagyu Beef, and smoked salmon drizzled in hollandaise sauce. The new offerings include two Upper Crust pizzas, and a range of meat and vegetarian starters, calzones, standard pizzas and salads.
Crust has also revamped its Tick approved Healthier Choice range to include three new pizzas – Beef Fajita Tick Pizza, Paprika Chicken Tick Pizza and Mediterranean Vegetable Tick Pizza – as well as two new salads – Mixed Leaf and Italian – all guaranteed by the Heart Foundation to be a healthier choice.
Former International Pizza Champion and the mastermind behind the menu, Crust’s Creative Chef Peter Augoustis is excited to bring these gourmet new masterpieces to pizza lovers around Australia.
“Australians are increasingly unleashing their inner foodies, thanks in part to culinary reality-TV, and more than ever can tell their tarte tatins from their mini quiches. If you fancy yourself to be a bit of a foodie, then you’ll be sure to find something you’ll fall in love with on the new menu. Real gourmet pizza is all about fresh quality ingredients and proper technique, and all of our pizza-makers in our stores have worked hard to take it up a notch with our delicious new menu items,” said Peter.
“We’re all about changing people’s perceptions of takeaway pizza by delivering a restaurant quality experience for people to enjoy at home.” Peter added.
To celebrate the launch of its new range, Crust is running a cheeky campaign to capture the attention of the Michelin review panel and earn a star for its gourmet menu. Customers will be given the opportunity to win a silver-service night in or a trip to hand-deliver Crust’s new range to the home of gourmet cuisine, Paris, France.
All new menu additions are available for pick-up or delivery from Crust Gourmet Pizza Bars in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, TAS, SA, WA and ACT.
