
Muffin Break unveils Bread and Butter Muffin
The brand unveiled a new muffin flavour, the Jenny’s Old-Fashioned Bread and Butter Muffin, available at all stores nationwide from the 7th to 31st of December.
The new offering will be the last instalment from the brand's Muffin Lab range for 2015.
The unique recipe was created for Australians due to Jenny Ryan, who submitted the flavour suggestion as part of the Muffin Lab ‘Suggest a Flavour’ competition, which ran from February through to July.
The Jenny’s Old-Fashioned Bread and Butter Muffin combines custard with sweet, succulent sultanas, chunky chocolate chips, cinnamon and a hint of vanilla essence. The Muffin Break bread and butter mix was be added to a layer of pre-prepared one-day-old muffins, and finished with a scoop of ice cream.
Ryan was crowned the overall winner of the competition and awarded a $500 cash card.
Ryan said, “It’s so exciting to see this in Muffin Break stores. I remember eating bread and butter pudding as a child with my grandparents, the taste and smell of the muffin will be a trip down memory lane for Aussies.”
