McDonald’s adds gourmet chicken, salads to Create Your Taste menu
The fast food chain unveiled an expansion of the Create Your Taste menu to include gourmet grilled chicken burgers and salads.
Customers will now have the choice of a grilled chicken breast on their Create Your Taste burgers, as well as being able to choose from a range of new ingredients including a ciabatta bun, slaw and mozzarella cheese.
The expanded platform will also allow customers to completely customise their own salad from scratch.
Mark Lollback, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Australia, said the Create Your Taste offering was continuing to grow in response to consumer demand.
“We’ve seen Aussies really embrace Create Your Taste, which means that we’re now in a position to expand the offering to include chicken and salads – something our customers have been asking us for since we launched Create Your Taste."
“We’re shortly coming up to one million burger combinations designed by Australians since the launch of Create Your Taste and 97% of those combos are completely unique, proving Aussies are really enjoying experimenting with their flavours and ingredients,” Lollback said.
The new freshly-grilled chicken and salad options launched in restaurants on October 21 around the country, alongside a ciabatta bun and new CYT sauces including thai style mayo, red capsicum pesto and pesto mayo.
