Crust unveils new Italian-inspired pizzas
The gourmet pizza bar is also giving customers the chance to win a classic Vespa when they purchase one of four new Italian inspired pizzas.
Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar Managing Director Renee North said Crust’s new menu additions were inspired by flavours from Italy, and were crafted to bring the classic Italian Pizzeria vibe to Crust stores around the country.
“The ‘La Dolce Pizza’ range, Porcini, Chilli Gambero and Quattro Salumi pizzas bring Italy to life and combine classic ingredients with fresh, new flavours,” she said.
“To celebrate the new range we are giving away a classic Vespa to one lucky customer who purchases any of our Crust pizzas during the promotional period.”
Customers will be given a special ‘key’ with a unique password when they purchase any of our pizzas; they then need to visit the Crust website and enter their unique password to be eligible to win the classic Vespa.
North said the brand is keeping the last pizza flavour a secret, to be discovered by customers.
“To add some intrigue to our new product launch, we’ve kept one of our new pizzas a secret, and this pizza will need to be unlocked by customers in store or via our website. Customers can unlock the secret pizza by using the password ‘La Dolce Pizza’ in store, or when ordering on the Crust website/app,” she said.
North said regular menu innovation using the finest ingredients has been Crust’s long term strategy for building its business.
“With our new pizzas we’ve reimagined the Italian classics. Our secret pizza uses a combination of traditional flavours with an added fresh twist. The Porcini pizza – an old-style cheese and mushroom pizza, now has a combination of Porcini and wild mushrooms, shaved Parmesan, fresh basil, Truffle oil and a creamy Béchamel base,” she said
The competition is being run across all Crust stores from November 2 to December 23. The winner of the classic Vespa will be drawn on December 23.
