The Coffee Club New Zealand launches new vegan options
Available in all stores, the autumn menu will include three new vegan dishes.
The vegan options will be added to the menu on the 21st of March and will include Chia Seed Pot with Coconut & Almond, Hummus & Smashed Pea Open Sourdough, and Crispy Tofu Salad.
The Coffee Club New Zealand co-director and head of menu development Andy Lucas said, “Kiwi customers are definitely showing signs that they’re looking to reduce the amount of meat in their diets. We have also received increasing requests for a broader vegan menu - both in-store and via our social media channels. We have been experimenting with plant-based flavours and ingredients over the past few months, in response to that customer feedback.”
“The new dishes will sit alongside our existing vegetarian dishes and popular dairy-free hot and cold drinks,” he adds. “We have focused on using fresh, natural ingredients that are so tasty that anyone can enjoy them, not just vegans and vegetarians. We will look to further develop both the vegan and vegetarian options once we see how the new menu additions are received.”
The Coffee Club stores can be found throughout both the North and South Islands.
