Gloria Jean's Coffees set to debut in the Palestinian territories
The move follows a string of master franchise agreements in other continents.
Retail Food Group (RFG)-owned Gloria Jean’s Coffees is set to debut in the Palestinian territories.
The announcement comes after signing a master franchise agreement with Khaled Aqqad and Yousef Asfour, who plans to open their first store by late 2018 and grow their outlet base.
RFG attributes the over 200 outlet-strong presence in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region to the “strength” of the Gloria Jean’s brand. With the new signing, over twenty master franchise agreements have been signed to date for the said area.
“RFG are now looking to build on this success and are actively seeking Master Franchise Partnership opportunities for their fleet of brands including It’s A Grind, Donut King and Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar,” the group said in the announcement.
The move also joins a string of expansions by the Retail Food Group, with Gloria Jean’s Coffees master franchise agreements recently announced in the United Kingdom, additional growth of its Donut King and Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar brands in the said country, and Donut King’s expansion in Sweden.
RFG also said in the announcement that the Winkel Group, their master franchise partners in Germany, are planning to open their first store in Cologne this October.
