Adelaide Mcdonald's franchisee sued over coffee spill

Was misplaced lid to blame?

According to Adelaide Now, 22-year old Jessica Sussan Wishart will be suing a Mcdonald’s franchise due to negligence that inflicted multiple second-degree burns to her inner thigh, groin, and buttock.

Jessica was holding the cup of coffee on her right hand while inside the car, when the coffee spilled on her inner thighs because the cup’s lid was not securely placed.
